Class Description: 1. What you will make: Box with hand-cut dovetails. 2. Tools you will use: Various hand planes, marking gauge, chisels, handsaws, bevel gauge 3. Knowledge and skills you will gain: Proper use of hand tools, how to maintain hand tools, sharpening, and construction of a box. 4. Brief woodworking related biography of the instructor: Charlie is an amateur furniture maker with 25+ years of practice. His specialty is using hand tools to create unique pieces of all types of furniture. 5. Age: Adults; Young adults 16+ 6. Number of Students: Class size is limited to 5 students Tools and Materials: All tools are provided. You do not need to bring any tools. Cost: There will be an additional fee for wood; approximately $20. Instructors fee: $100 Shop fee: $45 Total cost: $145 Club Membership: You must be an ACWA member to attend this class.
